ABOUT US
The Mariachi Heritage Society employs the most highly qualified
mariachi instructors and delivers the highest quality musical education
to over 700 children throughout Los Angeles and neighboring counties.
This program has a nationwide outreach, providing mariachi workshops
in Arizona, Nevada and Texas.
Future Mariachis
The curriculum provides lessons in guitar, guitarron, vihuela,
violin, trumpet and voice at no or minimal cost to the student.
Cost of supplies and teachers are underwritten by the Society as
funds permit.
Each year, Jóse Hernàndez, Sol de Mexico®, Reyna
de Los Angeles® and guest artists convene for a spectacular
performance to assist with projection costs for the Society's continued
education and the development of a much desired Mariachi Heritage
Society museum.
Individuals and firms are invited to be part of the Mariachi Heritage
Society for promoting our youth, community and heritage. We provide
you the opportunity to take part in different sponsorship levels
to assist our growing Mariachi Heritage Society.
Furthering mariachi music as a prominent voice in the academic
arena or professional music industry unifies our heritage ever more
as demonstrated by the organizations highlighted on our Partners
for Mariachi page.
